The death of Vixy

If you had ever lost a loved one, then you would know how James felt to find out that his beautiful wife, Vixy
died.

There was nothing to comfort him, not even the thought that it was just her time and it ended peacefully for her.
No, that had also been taken from him when he lost his soul mate.
It wasn't a peaceful death. It was a violent explosion which almost destroyed his only son too, Fox. And it was
definately not her time. They were both still young and had a 2 year old son. Their world was perfect, but as
we all know, reality is not always that sweet, and nothing lasts forever.
Somebody had to rip their lives to shreds, and the ironic thing is: it destroyed them too.

Andross, a name feared by Lylatians everywhere, a mad scientist who wanted to take over the lylat sytem, had
become infatuated by her beauty.

Truth was, he was in love with her.

But she was with James, madly in love, happily married and already had a kit whom she adored. And besides that,
even if she wasn't with him, there was no way she would have fallen for this malevont being. Andross was a
detestable evil ape who revelled in the pain of others, and dreamed of unimagineable power.
James and he couldn't have been any more different. James was a respectable handsome fox, a hero who fought to
save the world. He loved his wife and would have done anything to keep her safe. But how could he have known the
plan Andross had in store?

It wasn't a plan to get rid of Vixy in a jealous rage, if he couldn't have her, then nobody could. No.
It was far from this; he wanted James out of the picture, for a chance to have Vixy all for himself. But his plan
backfired on him.

A bomb was placed in the car, ready and waiting, craving the blood of James McCloud. But in reality, this was just
an object, it gave no name as to who it would destroy and it would destroy whatever was near it at the time of
detonation. Vixy was driving the car, with a young Fox McCloud in the back, when the bomb detonated in a cataclysmic
eruption. Unfortunately for James and his son, she didn't make it, although Fox had luckily managed to survive this
ordeal.

If it weren't for Fox, James would have given up all hope with a life without Vixy. Fox needed his father
now more than ever, with no mother to help make him into the fine gentleman he no doubtably would be. Knowing he
should be thankful for the fact that he still had his son, gave James enough of a reason to live. Whenever he
looked at him, he saw part of Vixy and it gave him comfort. But it also saddened him to know that Vixy wouldn't be
there to see their son grow up and his heart broke just that little bit more to explain to his son that he would
no longer be able to see his mummy, no longer be able to hug her or get tucked in by her at bed-time.

Of course, James was distraught when he found out. Cried through endless nights, his heart was in peices and
nothing could peice it back together. into He knew the bomb was meant for him and it tore him up inside
that it should have been him. His best friend Peppy repeatedly told him he wasn't to blame, it wasn't his fault,
it was all Andross'. But these words were wasted on deaf ears and for months of grieving for the lose of his dear
wife, his broken heart was filled with revenge and it longed for the blood of the monster who caused his pain;
Andross.

He wanted so much to destroy this abomination, to make him pay for all of the pain he had put him through. For
taking a brilliant mother away from her son, an amazing person from all of her friends and a loving Wife and soul
mate away from him. He wanted to make this ape feel his own pain and he was determined to do so.
